is a broken thought and hesitation.

Tarry, she said, lost in the heat and waver of the moment

forgetting the water, nearly boiling dry on the stove,

the dust settling in unattended corners.

Tarry, reminds me of hesitate and falter.. and I'm not sure where these moments join.
